Remember when horror films used to wait a few installments before resorting to odd subtitles?
Don't mean to be a cynic about it, but here we are and the sequel to Escape Room goes with an odd choice in the subtitle Tournament of Champions. Course, when the first installment made a whopping $155 million on a mere $9 million budget, I guess they thought they could call it anything they want. But will the sequel to a film made to profit off a trend of the time be as lucky. Who knows? We'll find out when the film lands in theaters on July 16th. Escape Room: Tournament of Champions stars Taylor Russell, Logan Miller, Isabelle Fuhrman, Thomas Cocquerel, Holland Roden, Carlito Olivero, and Indya Moore. It is once again directed by Adam Robitel.
