"Dying Light 2" Gets Update Teaser

The first Dying Light was the best-selling title of January 2015 and broke the record for first-month sales of a new survival-horror intellectual property. It has continued to be a commercial success, amassing more than 17 million players by the end of 2019. Even an expansion, titled Dying Light: The Following, was released in 2016 and Techland, the makers behind the game, continued to support it. Fans of the game, noted for it's unique day-night cycle in which zombies are slow and clumsy during daytime but become extremely aggressive at night, have clamored for a sequel and, in 2018 at E3, a sequel was announced and has since then been highly anticipated. However, it got moved out of it's 2020 release window to be further developed which, of course, got hindered further by the COVID-19 pandemic. And nothing has been heard about the game since.

Taking note of the fans' waiting for an update, several creative forces behind the game filmed a new teaser that initially starts with several members of the development team addressing the frustration of fans (To hilarious effect). Then, they offer a brief tease of game footage. You can check out that teaser below:

Dying Light 2 will be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Stay tuned!
