DC's "The Flash" Film Commences Filming, Film Logo Revealed

After years of trying to get the film off the ground, filming has officially commenced on the Flash solo film. Expected to be influenced by the popular Flashpoint comic book series, Ezra Miller reprises his role of Barry Allen/Flash after previously co-starring in Justice League. The film made waves when it was announced last year that Michael Keaton would return as an older version of the Bruce Wayne/Batman he played in 1989's Batman and 1992's Batman Returns. Courtesy of the unique nature of the Flashpoint influence, Keaton will appear alongside Ben Affleck's current iteration of Batman that appeared alongside Miller in Justice League.

To mark the production's start, the film's director Andy Muschietti (Mama, the IT duology) released on Instagram a brief video that reveals the logo design for the film. Check it out below:

The Flash co-stars Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, and Ron Livingston. It is set to hit theaters November 4th, 2022.
