The official trailer for the new miniseries adaptation of The Stand, based on the 1978 Stephen King novel of the same name, has been released. Much like the 1994 miniseries adaptation that starred Gary Sinise, the new story takes place in a world decimated by plague and embroiled in an elemental struggle between the forces of good (A handful of survivors led by the 108-year-old Mother Abagail) and evil, (Led by Randall Flagg, the nefarious "Dark Man"). The Stand will consist of 10-episodes which will release weekly on CBS All Access, starting on December 17th.
Looks very meh...but then again what else would you expect from the same people who brought your star trek std
So good they won't even put it on television.
