While the game will serve as a launch title for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 12th, for those not ready to, pardon the pun, shell out $500 for a new console, the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on November 13th will also be for current consoles (Playstation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows). And today, the official launch trailer for the game, set in the early 1980's of the Cold War, has been released. Check it out below:
The events of the campaign will serve as direct sequel to the original Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010). It will follow CIA officer Russell Adler as he pursues an alleged Soviet spy, Perseus, whose stated goal is to subvert the United States and tilt the balance of power toward the Soviet Union.
