It's a wonder how the final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will play out. Following protests from the last year in regards to police brutality, it was confirmed that the writers on the show had gone back to retool. Awhile ago, lead star Andy Samberg said the season would be “striking a balance between” dealing with police brutality “and putting on a show that people who love [it] have been watching for seven years.” Whatever that means, a brief teaser has been released today where the cast speaks about how the show will work to go out in a blaze of glory and, in the process, confirmed that the eighth and final season will premiere on August 12th. Check it out below:
The final season is set to be composed of 10 episodes, with the first two premiering on August 12th at 8 and 8:30 P.M. on NBC, which the network added that “The series will air each Thursday in those timeslots." What that means is that every week is going to air two episodes at 8pm and 8:30pm, meaning the series will wrap up in five weeks as opposed to ten. So if you're curious to see how this series ends, you won't have to wait as long as you think to find out! Stay tuned!
