While many extended franchises of classic movies are so-so, one highly-anticipated spin-off is the upcoming anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus, which will premiere next month on that network and SVOD service. So it's no surprise that Adult Swim and Crunchyroll have revealed the new full trailer for the series.
Set between the events of the original 1982 film Blade Runner (set in 2019) and 2017's Blade Runner 2049, the anime will follow a mysterious female replicant named Elle (voiced by Jessica Henwick) who traverses 2032 Los Angeles in search of the truth about herself. Along the way, she will discover a conspiracy surrounding her. Will Yun Lee and Brian Cox also lend their voices to the English language version. That version will premiere on Adult Swim's Toonami on November 13th while Crunchyroll will stream the Japanese version (with English subtitles available). Alcon Entertainment and animation studio Sola Digital Arts handled the production.

The thirteen-episode series is directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama. Shinichiro Watanabe (of Cowboy Bebop fame) serves as a creative producer.
