The superhero landing has been a pose that recently has been made fun of for being incredibly impractical. Mostly because it's a wonder how someone hasn't broken their knee and maintained their balance. Yet, every time a superhero does it in a movie this is the tone set:
One hero known for it is that of Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow who loved landing or posing that way during her tenure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In her solo movie, as it turns out, this pose will be made fun of. The new clip released today in an interview with the film's co-star Florence Pugh on Jimmy Kimmel Live! reveals she will have the honor of poking fun at the titular hero's style. This is the second clip for Black Widow to highlight one of the titular hero's Russian family members, following one released recently focused on David Harbour's Red Guardian. Check out the full interview below with the clip starting at around the 7:30 mark:
Black Widow co-stars O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz. It is directed by Cate Shortland. It is set to be released on July 9th simultaneously in theaters and through Disney+ with Premier Access.
Jimmy Kinmel is a piece of shit.
Jimmy Kimmel lied. That was not really funny. Now that trust is broken.
