While it's a wonder what story MCU fans would have gotten for the upcoming Black Panther sequel had Chadwick Boseman lived to film it, the upcoming film is determined to make a war film set between Wakanda and the underwater kingdom ruled by Namor.
A popular character in the comics, Namor has been on the docket to join the MCU for years and is finally introduced in gloriously epic fashion. In a new featurette released late last night, Namor (played in the film by Tenoch Huerta) is painted in a more complex light so as not to make audiences think he is strictly a villain of the story. But rather, he is another perspective of an isolated, advanced nation (an underwater kingdom named Talokan) trying to defeat threats before they come for them. To preserve their nation as Wakanda does (which is teased in the film's subtitle). Check out the featurette below:
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever co-stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Dominique Thorne, Florence Kasumba, Michaela Coel, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett. It is directed by Ryan Coogler (who co-wrote the script with Joe Robert Cole) and is set to hit theaters on November 11th.
This could be the worst movie of the year and it will still get 90% fresh rating at RT
