Billy Crudup has managed a good balancing act between films and television. While most wouldn't recognize him as Dr. Manhattan from Zack Snyder's big budget adaptation of Watchmen, on the small screen he's managed a consistent series of supporting roles, most recently in the hit series The Morning Show over at Apple TV+. And now, he'll see himself take centerstage on that streaming service's new upcoming show Hello Tomorrow! for Apple TV+.
Consisting of 10-episodes, Crudup will play a salesman in a “retro-future world” that is so optimistic about the future that he revitalizes his co-workers and clients but threatens to get lost in his own dreams. Crudup will also serve as an executive producer for the show alongside the series' writers-creators Amit Bhalla and Lucas Jansen (Bloodline, The Money) as well as Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F*cking World) who will be directing the series.
Hello Tomorrow! will be produced by Blake Griffin, Ryan Kalil, and Noah Weinstein through their banner Mortal Media. Stay tuned!
