AppleTV+'s "Lisey's Story" Debuts Official Trailer

 

Another day, another adaptation of a Stephen King novel. This time, a limited series over at Apple TV+ based on his bestselling 2006 thriller novel Lisey's Story which brings an acclaimed cast along with it. This includes Julianne Moore, Clive Owen, Joan Allen, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Dane DeHaan, Ron Cephas Jones, and Sung Kang will co-star. The synopsis is as follows:


A widow (Played by Moore) becomes the object of a dangerous stalker, obsessed with the work of her late-husband (Played by Owen).


King co-wrote all eight episodes with acclaimed filmmaker Pablo Larrain who doubled down creatively and directed every episode. King and Larraín are also executive producing alongside J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson, and Juan de Dios Larrain. And ahead of it's two-episode premiere on Apple TV+ on June 4th, the official trailer has been released online today. Check it out below:

I'm torn. It looks worth checking out.........but......JJ Abrams seems to ruin everything he's involved with.

It completely destroys and ruins the character of Luke Skywalker. I guess I took it.....hard. I had the toy lighsabers when I was a kid. I wanted to be the hero of the story like Luke. Then Rian Johnson took a giant shit all over that like he'd never even seen the original trilogy. All in order to subvert expectations. I hope he burns in hell but I guess I'm over it. I'm just done with Disney Wars.
